Pirate ship balloon landscape (23 March 2014)

This year is Pirate ship theme for Singapore's balloon landscape.
It was held at Marina Square
We visited pretty early around 1130am then continue with balloon sculpting for Richie and daddy
They made heart flower and rubber ducky

Learning math ( addition ) - mid term break activity

This week is mid term break for Richie, since it's only a week, every activity goes as usual except no school.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday is Music and reading lesson
Tuesday and Thursday is Mandarin and Math lesson

Today, mommy introduces him to addition using button kits
he can do sum up from 1 + 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 without using button kits
But when he does sum up from 2 + 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 he needs button kits

I can read robins 5a

Richie has advanced his reading skill to read robins series part 5a
Eventhough he may not recognize some words but he's willing to learn new words

 

 

 

Learning music (DIY) stage 1 progress

After one month learning music with mommy, 3 times a week, Richie has shown some progresses
He can recognize
- note in the staff from do - sol
- can play do - sol (right hand) in the keyboard
- can play very simple song by reading the notes using right hand only

Well done boy !

Homemade popsicle (berries - banana - peach )

Richie loves fruits and ice cream, so instead of buying ice cream outside, mommy decides to make ice popsicle from his favourite fruits

Attending fine dining wedding (1 March 2014)

This is the second time we brought the whole family attending wedding. This time round was fine dining wedding celebration at Il Lido, Sentosa
