His Teacher, Ms Sharon is super cool. She really goes extra miles by encouraging the parents to join Whats App Group so she could update us what activities and what's going on in class.

Social skills developed (3 yrs ++ )

I have read some articles as well as attended seminar about parenting that social skills are developed naturally when kid's age around 3 years old. Of course if parents want to push the kid to have social skill faster it could be done, by sending them in school earlier but so what ???

So I let him grow and develop the skill naturally and it's beautiful to see the nature takes course
When I or his daddy bring him to playground, he will prefer to play with other kids, and like in this occasion when he brought his bike into playground, he made friend with older kids and in response the older kid help him to learn bike. And for few minutes only, he could ride bike on his own..The power of peer learning !

Last Playdate on December and gift exchange

To celebrate December babies as well as to remark last playdate on December, Mommy's group of NTU friends arranged for small party in the pool with BBQ for adults too.

Aunty Endina was the main host and she also helped to be an MC for kids.
The kids decorated their own cupcake and lighted the candle up on each cupcake.
After that they sang Happy birthday and blew the cake together.

Since there were many December babies, we decided to do gift exchange instead.
Richie got assorted wooden cars and he's so happy to receive it

 

Mommies' playdates

After so long we didn't meet face to face with other mommies in playdate group. Yesterday, we finally met up....yyay...
We met up at Ikea Alexandra, 'cos it's child friendly shop and restaurant.
we had lunch together with kiddos, Richie finished almost the whole 15 meatballs...and left mommy with 3 meatballs..
Catching up with them by chating and gossiping about many things from our pregnant friends till about kiddos was very fun.

Then, Richie, Iggy and Alviss were left in Smaland for an hour while we were walking around the showroom. They were enjoying themselves too.
After we picked them up, we went down to buy ice cream and went back home

Attending Young Married couple cell group

Since Richie is now 2.5 years old and well behaved, mommy and daddy decided to attend young married couple cell group with KTM.
At first, Richie was shy because he never meet other couples but after second visit, he's quite comfortable with the people there especially the other kids. He's the oldest among other kids.

Kaitlyn 1st Bday Party

Last Sunday, Richie was invited to Kaitlyn 1st Birthday Party in the afternoon.
At first mommy was worry because it's Richie's napping time but when the clock showed the time 3.30pm he's still fresh and didn't show any sleepy sign so we went ahead to Kaitlyn's house

There, he was so excited with mini playground and played with new friends ignoring mommy and daddy except when we offered him some food hehe...
Then come, birthday ceremony, he was the most excited person to blow the candle and cut the cake instead the birthday girl hehe...especially when happy birthday song was sung.

And he's so eager to eat the cupcake too.
Anyway, mommy realized that he's not a baby anymore and he can socialize well with anyone even the new people.
We are so proud of you boy !

Three musketeers

Yesterday, we visited Darell's house cos Kael and his mom also came to Singapore and we wanted to meet with our kiddos too.
Three of them were so well behaved, perhaps they met only 1 hour so no toys fighting and each of them played with different toys.
Hopefully we can meet up again and play together

Saturday outing @ West Coast Park

Last Saturday, we had outing again with Ardi's family @ West Coast Park.
As usual, Richie was so reluctant to play in the sand. This time round, we rented pedal go-kart.
It's pretty expensive though, S$36 for half an hour only. Well, for experience and good excersise.
Richie was excited too.

Swimming @ MBS

Last Friday, we brought Richie to swim @ MBS since daddy's friend came here and stayed there.
It's so crowded with Indonesians and was the swimming pool.
Luckily we just played with water only and it was sunset time so the view was very beautiful.
After that we had dinner together @ MR. Curry, Marina Square. Richie and Rexton were very hungry then after swimming.
Good to see Rexton again and meet Vicky. We'll see you again soon

Visiting Baby Alicia

Yesterday, we visited Baby Alicia who just born on July 12.
Her weight and length when she was born are the same with Richie's. So tiny and small. Can't believe it that mommy and daddy survived that period hehe...

Attending MJ 1st Bday Party

And last Saturday, 16 July we attended Marieve Juliet's 1st Birthday Party.
Richie was just woke up so he's a bit blur blur and cranky.
And he's so afraid with MJ because of her wearing ballerina dress haha...she got tutu as protection so Richie couldn't come closer
Anyway, Happy Birthday MJ !

Last Saturday 9 July, we had attending Max and Clarissa's Wedding and our family themed dress was brown, except daddy. Mommy wore brown and Richie wore batik

Attending Abby's 1st Bday Party

Last Saturday, Richie was invited to Abby 1st Bday Party.
He enjoyed it much especially during cutting cake ceremony and eating bday cake, 'cos he read the Birthday Cake book so he can apply his imagination in real life

Playdate with Nathan

It's quite sometimes ago, but mommy forgot to post the pics and videos hehe...
Nathan and his mom happened met mommy and Richie downstairs in the morning and decided to stop by at Richie's house and played together.
