Richie starts talking non-stop

Long time never update about Richie's development 'cos we are so busy travelling hehe...

Anyway, Richie has been doing great last year and his talking also improves even though he hasn't able to make story yet. But he starts to talk non-stop and repeat again and again hehe...

Sometimes we find it so cute how he wants to express himself with his limited words.

And before going to sleep, he always asking everyone, opa jerry mana ? oma ani mana? opa bambang mana? oma tine mana? om nad mana? ik di mana ? papa mana ? mama mana ? hahaha 

everytime I reply him, he will ask  the same questions again and again 

Well, mommy just hope that this new year, he will become better boy and more improvement in his milestones.

Copying - talking and talking

Approaching 21st month, his brain is somehow working well for speaking...
Richie likes to copy what mommy or daddy say and talks much...
Of course mommy and daddy are so happy...finally Richie is willing to copy and talk hehehe...
Now, he's slowly able to differentiate vehicles. Last time, those with wheels were called car....now he can say bus, bike, truck even though it's not clear yet...only mommy and God knows what he's talking about haha...

And he could talk oma, opa, cece, koko, baby besides mama and papa...
Sometimes he could say 2 words to make a simple sentence...for eg..opa bobok when he watched the TV
Richie can say mamam, mimik, kropok, nat nat (donat), anggur, yakult, yoghurt, berry (strawberry), poppop (lollipop), cherries, klat (coklat), cake, cookies, bakpau, nood (noodle), milk, carrot and many more...
can't remember hehe

Well, mommy and daddy are really happy to see his great improvement these few days...

Now, mommy understands, when the kid is ready to talk, he will talk by himself...

Well done boy !

Some words spoken

Another improvement for his speech...yeay....
he  could speak some words even though it's not correct yet but at least he understands and we could understand what he wants
And we patiently correct him and teach him more words

Ba ball - meaning ball
Ba bo - meaning balloon
Ku kuk - meaning the bird coming out from our cuckoo clock
car - meaning car
ta ta - meaning tomato
mamam - meaning drink
ama - meaning oma
am - meaning om

u u a a - sound of monkey
wuf wuf - sound of dog
argh argh - sound of lion
mao mao - sound of cat

Accidentaly speaking words ??

This morning when mommy brought Richie to playground, suddenly he copied what mommy said.
When mommy asked him...where's the star ?
He then pointed the star and said "star", then when mommy asked him where's circle ?
he then said "circle"

Then when mommy showed him the bird, he said "bird"
But after mommy asked him to repeat again, he didn't want it .....aiya....

Don't know if it's just happen accidentally...oh boy...when do you want to start speaking properly??

Slow in speech

Mommy would say Richie is a little bit slow in speech skills.
He prefers using baby language to proper language. Even though we have trained him by speaking loud and clearly. He just doesn't bother to do it.
When he's upset or angry, he likes mumbling with his own language which mommy and daddy don't understand.
Some said that boy is slower than the girl. I am not sure whether it's true.

Well, mommy just needs to be patience and persistent then...
Hopefully you can speak proper words son !
