Swimming Frog style in progress (18 March 2015)

After a year, finally he got confident in the water to swim independently.
Eventhough the frog style is still imperfect but he managed to swim by himself 12 laps.
Well done Richie ! Keep it up !

A breakthrough in swimming (7 june 2014)

This is a breakthrough for richie who's having phobia in water
He finally gained confidence in the pool
He could gliding and submerging happily

Swimming lesson 1 (15 Feb 2014)

Richie learns swimming again after 9 months break.
This time, he learns at Opa's condo @Regent Grove, Yew Tee
At first, he was reluctant to go into water, but after persuaded and encouraged by Coach Anisha, he finally has courage to go into water

Starting swimming lesson again...(9 Feb 2014)

Today Richie has swimming lesson trial at Regent Grove. At first, he was reluctant to go into water cos he was with new coach who's so unfamiliar with him and he's afraid of slipping and drowning in the pool.
Fortunately, the coach played water with him and papa also encouraged him to go into water.
Finally, he did it, stepped into the water and stood in the base.

Good job richie !

Next Saturday will be the official lesson, hopefully he's able to swim within a year

One Month One Week ...

Finally his immune is getting stronger and stronger, it's been a  month and a week after he starts school and so far he hasn't been ill.
It's good improvement for his immune therefore mommy decides to enroll him for swimming class again at Regent Grove Condominium.
The trial starts tomorrow morning, hopefully Richie likes it and has fun

Last Swimming lesson (31-3-13)

Last Sunday was last swimming lesson for Richie, eventhough he's very keen to swim but he didn't have much improvement yet and besides he's now building his immune system therefore we often skip the lessons because of his sickness.

We will enroll him again once he hit 4 yrs old, perhaps he's most ready and learn pretty fast

Officially joining swimming class (4 Nov 2012)

Richie officially joined the Aqua Duck Swimming class @ turf city
He enjoyed it very much and never gave up

Swimming trial lesson with Aqua Duck

Last Sunday, mommy enrolled Richie to swimming trial lesson with Aqua Duck @ Turf City.

It's free trial and Richie was so excited and looking forward for the lesson.

On Sunday afternoon, it's heavy rain so mommy though it may be canceled but alas around 2.30pm the rain stopped and it's just nice. The weather was not so hot and cooling.
The pool was heated pool so it's not cool and just nice

Richie was so excited to swim and couldn't wait.
Daddy accompanied him to swim with other 3 girls and their parents too.

Richie was very brave, eventhough he drank some waters, he didn't give up and wanted to do the tasks like bubbling in the water or submerge the face into water.
He had so much fun and enjoyed the lesson. The coach was apparently Indonesian chinese guy too. He's pretty patience with the kids and can live up the situation with songs and toys.

Richie didn't want to get off from the pool after the 30mins lesson ended and he looked forward for the next lesson. Here some videos that mommy took during the lessons

When the story book comes alive

Richie the Explorer

While in Bali, Richie learnt many things from splashing the water, climbing up the stairs and learning the sound of some musical instruments.

First time mommy and daddy brought Richie to big pool to swim after attending birthday party.
We went to Uncle ferdi's condo, luckily it's very near from our house so we could go frequently.
Actually mommy and daddy were only preparing Richie for Bali trip so he's comfortable with real swimming pool
At first, he was a bit nervous 'cos every where was water. But after some times he pretty enjoyed himself and splashed the water with his tiny hands and legs.

Next time mommy will use the baby and me combie float instead of neck ring. He's not able to see surrounding and it's a bit too small for him
